The Fable Engine provides custom written content. Because this work is created specifically for you, our refund policy reflects the nature of bespoke services while honouring your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

When you are entitled to a full refund

To request a refund under any of these grounds, email hello@thefableengine.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date with your order details.

When refunds are not available

How to request a refund

Email hello@thefableengine.com with your order confirmation number and a brief description of the issue. Refund requests are reviewed within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.

Revisions first

Before requesting a refund, please use your revision entitlement. Standard and Premium packages include revision rounds specifically to address feedback. Most quality concerns can be resolved this way faster than a refund and reorder.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a remedy. For major failures, this may include a refund. Contact us first — we will always aim to resolve issues fairly.
